What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It does be part of your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
